What measurement system are we using for character's height and weight?

Could I submit a character that's within the age range but no longer attending school due to dropping out of formal education?

Unfortunately all characters in International must be secondary students, so they must still be attending formal secondary students in some major capacity, enough so to the point that they would be abducted for SOTF on their way home from school.

Something I just thought of and I'm kind of worried about it: do we need to specify what school the character goes to? And does that school need to be real? Probably silly, but I would like some confirmation just in case.

2) While you can use a real school if you'd like, you're allowed to use the name of a real-sounding school instead of a real school - a random school student from a completely different continent looking up their school on google and finding SOTF from it is an incredibly unlikely set of circumstances, but you're allowed to sidestep this possibility completely if you should choose by naming your own school, although just make sure it is named appropriately to the region.
Just wondering, how would the daypacks and the announcements system work? And given that this is the first sotf of its 'verse, how would they learn what situation they're in?
- There will be daypacks.
- There will be announcements.
- You will find out when your character does.
