International Profile Template

#1

Post by Brackie »

NOTE: Due to the setup of this AU, you must claim a country in this thread before you can submit a profile. Any profile submitted without a country being claimed before submission will be denied, even if you claim the country right after submitting your profile.

ALSO NOTE: Make sure to use this template exactly, including all bolding and paragraph breaks. If the formatting is incorrect, you will be asked to correct it before receiving a full critique.

All characters from SOTF: International, must be school students in their respective regions, between the ages of 17-19, as well as citizens of the country they reside and study in.

::..ADVICE ON FILLING IN THE TEMPLATE..::

Name: [Self-explanatory - first name, last name, as well any middle name/s and any notable nicknames may be included here as well. Staff reserve the right to request changes to characters’ names for any reason during the critiquing process.]
Gender: [Male/Female/Assorted Others, although the latter will be vetted for sensitivity and realism.]
Age: [Your character needs to be a student in their final grade/year of study, which will vary by country and region - make sure their age matches up appropriately.]
Place of Residence: [Where your character lives, as claimed via the aforementioned claiming thread. We will need at minimum 2 administrative territorial entities (town, city, state, territory, county, province, be as accurate as you can), one of which must be the country of citizenship and current residence][e.g. Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia.]
Language/s: [List the language or languages your character can speak. Barring several rare exceptions, the language or languages your character speaks should correspond with your character’s country of origin - if not, there will need to be extensive reasoning and explanation, especially considering that your average secondary schooling student is not a polyglot.]
Hobbies and Interests: [Make sure to list anything your character was involved in prior to abduction; this can include extracurricular activities, volunteer work, clubs, etc., here. This should be a list, not a narrative section. Anything listed here should be covered in the Biography section of the profile to a decent level of detail, including at what point your character picked up this interest, the role it played in their life, and why they partake in it. Make sure to have at least three distinct hobbies and interests.]

Appearance: [Describe, in detail, what your character looks like. Make sure to include height, weight, hair and eye colours, a facial description, and the outfit your character was wearing when they were abducted. Note that every student was abducted on their way home from school, so make sure you take note of schooling dress codes and uniforms for the country your character is from.]

Biography: [Tell us about your character - their past, their personality, their likes, their dislikes, their general outlook on the world they live in - anything that makes them stand out or anything you deem important or influential to your character should be included here.]

Advantages: [What advantages would your character have over other players in SOTF: International? Make sure they have been covered beforehand in the biography section - you will need at least two distinct advantages.]
Disadvantages: [What disadvantages would your character have compared to others in this game? Bear in mind that the average student of your character's age will most likely not have fighting ability or gun training, so the lack thereof does not count as a disadvantage. Make sure these are covered beforehand in the biography section, and you include at least two distinct disadvantages.]
