Keiji glanced around between the trees as he slowed. Uh.

They honestly all looked the same to him. Nature wasn't really his thing, and he couldn't remember the last time he'd been on a hike. On account it had never happened. Keiji hesitated and turned around. Backwards looked the same as front; maybe a few leaves in different spots and some differently coloured trunks. He carefully did another 180. He did not want to be turned around and go running back towards whoever shooty mcscream had been.

Hold on though, there were supplies, right? Maybe there'd be something in the supplies.

Food at least.

Keiji shucked his daypack off and started to ferret through it. Uh... clothes, first aid, ooh, some bread, hammer, water bo-

Hammer!?

Keiji produced that from his pack, looked at it for a second, and then carefully replaced it.

Ooh, that was papery and such!

Keiji picked out the paper. It had a grid, a compass, locations. That was definitely a map!

It definitely used to be a map anyway.

There was a distinctly hammer-looking tear right through the middle of it.

"Awwww come oooooooon..."


Keiji picked a direction that wasn't where he'd come from and started walking again.
