As he ran, panting, out of breath yet still needing to run, to move, he pressed down on the gunshots with some muffled grunts of pain. He was bleeding everywhere, fuck, they were gonna be able to follow the blood right to him, like dogs. Shit. If only Fisk hadn't been some Matrix-style motherfucker he wouldn't be here. Fisk would be dead.

Gregory's foot tripped over something, and he tumbled onto the ground, face to face with a dead body. It looked like a dead body. It smelt like shit. Gregory wanted to throw up, but he couldn't. He had to keep running, because he knew Fisk and Verity would be right behind him, and if he didn't stop running they would kill him and make him look like Stokes. Uneasily trying to push himself with his bad arm, he collapsed back onto the body with a little squelch. He had to get up with his knees, his blood was everywhere, they would know where he was. He had to fix himself up or he would be dead. They would find him.
