Regardless of Fabiano's intentions, he was clearly taking Hoodie's side. And how did Hoodie respond? By calling him a moron.
What an ungrateful asshat. Fabiano should have known better than to expect decency from an outsider.
Non-Hoodie appeared to still be trying to calm the situation down. That was bad. But Non-Hoodie did a pretty bad job at it, so no one seemed to really listen.
On the other hand, New Guy showed himself unimpressed by Fabiano's words. Another sign he was not only strong, but also confident in his strenght. He would become really troublesome if he ever got his hands on a weapon, making it even more important for Fabiano to take him out right now.
Non-Hoodie had stepped between them, so Fabiano made a few steps to the left to get a good look on new guy and Hoodie again. This was as far as he could go, because further to the left there was a big pile of metal sticks that had once been the frames for tents, now hapharzadly thrown together. They looked sharp, so he didn't want to step into one of these things.
He turned to Hoodie. "First of all: Oh, look, you can speak english after all. And second: dude, I am trying to help you, so just shut up if you have nothing useful to say."
Then he gave a dirty look to New Guy. "And what makes you think I will regret anything? If you had any useful weapon, you would be showing it right now. Are you a karate kid or what?"

Austin really wished that he could give his wannabe hero the middle finger and he glanced over at Oscar whom sincerely looked like he was trying his best in a better way. Even if it wasn't really working that much. Heck, even his hostage taker seemed unimpressed with Fabiano's actions and he was pretty much in the same boat. He knew there was something about Fabiano that he didn't like.
"Hah."
Was all that he said before shutting up and waiting to see what was going to happen next.

“Out of the way…..,” Harun warned Oscar, averting his eyes at the other’s smile and remark.

Seriously? An introduction? Does he even realize the situation we are in?
From Fabiano's point of view, it didn't matter who the others were. Everyone but one person would die, and Fabiano was going to make sure the exception was him. There was no point getting buddy-buddy with a group of outsiders who wanted him dead and who wouldn't survive the next few days (or weeks, he still had no clue how many people were on the island or how many deaths were going to happen per day) anyway.
But Non-Hoodie, or Oscar, was either a naive fool or trying to trick everyone into thinking he was a naive fool. If it was the latter, he had succeeded in Fabiano's case. Oscar's proposal of doing a freaking introduction round like in school was just the icing on the cake. But ignoring him somehow didn't feel right, so Fabiano actually responded.

With that, he readied his tree branch and began to approach Hoodie and New Guy.

Fabiano did neither listen nor care what Oscar was saying.
When he reached the other boy, he just shoved him aside without looking, his eyes still focussed on New Guy.

There was a wet thunk, then a sound something south of a gasp. Bubbly. Choking.
Oscar's eyes were wide, but mobile, blinking, adjusting, trying to cast themselves downwards, downwards.
His mouth moved, twitched again, retrieved the smile from the previous stop, showing teeth. Showing blood.
He maybe tried to speak, but all that burst from his lips was a gobbet of blood, spilling out across his cheeks, chin.
The trail ran down, intermingling with that already running down his neck, pulsing and oozing around the snapped-off tent pin impaling his throat from the side.
Oscar's hand started to reach up, and then fell flat. His eyes closed.

Austin had zoned off mostly as the situation had seemed to escalate more and more and his hostage taker's grip on his hands had lessened as he was now threatening the wannabe hero loser with his giant fist. Oscar was still trying to help by being his friendly self and the other guy said that his name was Fabiano. Oh geez. The guy was still heading for him and his hostage taker.
Austin watched as Fabiano shoved Oscar out of the way and-
"Os-"
He saw Oscar's neck getting impaled by a tent pin and then he felt himself holding his breath for a few seconds. There was blood.... Why was Oscar smiling?! Austin was still stuck in a state of shock while Oscar was dying and choking on his own bright, red blood.
"-car...."
When Oscar was trying to raise his hand, Austin felt himself snapping out of it and he pulled himself out of Harun's loosened grip on him, hurrying over to where Oscar was laying. He knelt down by his side and Austin realized that Oscar was not making a sound anymore. He really was gone, even Austin didn't need to checked with the tent pin sticking through his neck. This was so much more different from seeing people dying in horror movies. Since that was fake.... But this...? This was too fucking real.
"Oscar...."
He felt himself trembling with rage and a pang of guilt. He turned his head to stare right at Fabiano and he knew that it was likely that it was not done on purpose. But this guy had still killed someone who didn't deserve it.

Before Fabiano could come even close to New Guy and Hoodie, a weird noise he couldn't place sounded to the left of him. Confused, he turned around and saw...
... Oscar with the remains of a tent piercing his neck. He had landed right in the pile of metal Fabiano had noticed earlier.
It didn't take him long to figure out what had transpired. Or to see the severity of the wound.
Hoodie, suddenly free from New Guy's grap, rushed to his companion and went through the "Oh my god a friend dies in front of me"-routine Fabiano knew from countless movies. The only difference was that Fabiano had a front seat. And that Oscar wouldn't stand up, wash away the makeup and collect his salary once the director screamed "Cut!"
Suddenly he felt his stomach turning around. Sure, he had been willing to bash New Guy's head in mere seconds ago, but New Guy was an asshole who provoked the whole situation. Not the naive-but-harmless guy who had tried to talk things out. It just felt wrong.
Then Hoodie called him a murderer.
"Uh..." Fabiano didn't knew what to say. Apologize? Saying it was an accident?
This mystery would remain unsolved as he saw a rapid movement from the corner of his viewfield. He sprang back a step and raised his tree branch only moments before New Guy's hands grabbed the place where his branch had been before.
Apparently, New Guy's reaction to seeing a person die had been "Hey, this is the perfect opportunity for an attack!"
By doing so, New Guy presented another opportunity to Fabiano. The opportunity to push all the shitty feelings in regards to Oscar away for the moment.
There was nothing left to say. After recovering from his backstep, Fabiano rushed forward again. He knew next to nothing about fighting, but it was obvious that the head would be a good target.
Holding the tree branch with both hands, he swung wide.

Austin stared back at Oscar's lifeless body and he took a few deep breathes, curling his hands up into fists. He needed to stay focused and do the right thing. And by the right thing, that meant that he would have to take down Oscar's killer and he would justified in doing so. It didn't matter if it was accidental or not. Austin needed to make sure that Fabiano couldn't walk or ran away breathing.
Austin stood up to his feet and turned around just as Fabiano was swinging the branch at Austin's hostage taker.
Austin felt himself sprinting right at Fabiano, ducking himself down slightly and he aimed to ram right into Fabiano's side to knock him down.

The fight against New Guy was over in the moment it began.
Because in the moment Fabiano started to swing his tree branch, he saw a third party rushing in from the sidelines: Hoodie. And it was clear which side he was on.
There was no time for anything. All Fabiano could do was to slightly correct his posture to brace for the impact, as Hoodie rammed into him with what a wrestling-fan would call a spear. The attack still sweeped him off the ground, sending both him and his attacker flying...
... right into the tent Fabiano had settled on as the best-suited for use.
The structure collapsed completely, engulfing him and hopefully also Hoodie in grey fabric. With that, Fabiano would have to find a new spot to spend the night, but that was not the issue at hand right now.
With his tree branch still in his right hand, he attempted to free himself from the fabric-y prison while giving the strongest kick he could muster in what he assumed to be Hoodies direction.

Austin had been successful in taking the asshole down and a tent by the looks of it. He needed to stop the guy from-
He felt the kick connecting with his chest, knocking the wind out of him.

He had rolled off of Fabiano as it had dazed him and he should always remember that legs were a strong weapon. Especially from horror movies.

Fabiano's feet collided with something that felt like it was alive, so that was a good thing.
He managed to get the damn remains of the tent off of him, which was another good thing.
However, this didn't change the fact he was outnumbered and without any weapon. New Guy looked though and Hoodie was angry enough to not hold back. In other words, the situation was as disadvantageous to him as possible.
Time for a speedy exit.
