P.J. Hobbs Senior High SchoolP.J. Hobbs Senior High School is a public school located in central Denton, New Jersey. Known for its excellent sports programs, P.J. Hobbs is also no slouch when it comes to academics. While a secular public school, the school is located in a neighborhood with a predominantly Catholic population, and these demographics show in the composition of the staff. Students of other (or no) faith are treated with fairness and respect, but often with a degree of minor bafflement.

Central MallLocated right in the heart of Denton, New Jersey, the mall was once the city's centerpiece. Standing at three stories tall, this building caters to the needs of Denton's citizens and the surrounding population alike. While once the home of many popular stores and restaurants, the change in economic climate has hit Central Mall like the rest of Denton, and a fifth of its storefronts now lie empty. Still, there's always a small crowd, and at least it's finally possible to find a parking place close to the entrance.

Benson's Bar and GrillThis quiet restaurant located in a secluded part of the downtown area has become quite a popular afterschool hangout for the local teens. The restaurant's friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere provide the perfect place to study, catch up on homework, or just hang out with friends after school. Be sure to try the Mamma's Mexican Surprise, it's the best in the tri-county area!

Sweet Bay CoffeeSituated across the street from beautiful Creekmore Park, Sweet Bay Coffee provides a scenic view, a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and a live band on every Friday night. Their menu boasts hundreds of varieties of coffees, cappuccinos, and frozen mochas, in addition to a variety of other choices. The cafe is also known for its fast wireless connection and comfortable seating, so many a time students can be seen working on their homework or collaborating in study groups here. It's almost as popular a destination for dates.

Kensington HeightsA ritzy, upper-class subdivision located on the south side of town. Kensington Heights, which rests atop a large hill overlooking the Fairway golf course, boasts some of the priciest and most stunning houses in the entire area. Exclusive in all aspects, it also boasts private grocery stores and shopping outlets for its residents, keeping them sequestered from the economic slump gripping the rest of Denton.

Carrington PointeCarrington Pointe, located in the eastern district, is a lovely neighborhood which serves as home to many middle-class families. Carrington is home to citizens of all shapes, sizes, and colors, and proudly boasts their neighborhood watch program. It sits atop a hill and gives off a beautiful view of the nearby beach. In recent years, Carrington Pointe has seen a steady decline in property values and a corresponding rise in economic hardships for its residents, but for now at least it remains a largely safe and healthy environment in which to raise a family.

Tilles CourtLocated on the west side of town, Tilles Court has been around almost as long as the city itself. Most of the homes are older and need a lot of fixing up. This makes them cheap, and so Tilles has become a haven for the lower class. It's also home to Tilles Park, a place not to be caught in at night. Sadly, the police don't bother patrolling this neighborhood much anymore.

The SeasideThe beautiful shoreline that outstretches into the Atlantic Ocean is Denton's pride and joy. A large amusement park has been built on the coast, though it has fallen into disrepair and is open only during summer months. Further up, a marina filled with boats exists, and even further up is the desolate and untainted shoreline, stopped only by a lone pier that juts out into the water.

Major Taylor Skate Park15,300 square feet of pure concrete, Major Taylor Skate Park is the largest skate park in the tri-state area. It is an outdoor park boasting a half bowl and two half pipes. It also has a street-oriented course that includes a 5 sided transition pyramid, ledges, walls, and a few rails. The park is open to skateboards, in-line skates, quads, and bicycles. You must wear pads at all time and sign a waver upon admission, but it offers special events like skate shows, and has a refreshment stand.

Parkway Shopping PlazaAn alternative to the corporate atmosphere of Central Mall, Parkway Plaza is filled with small shops and restaurants, mostly run by local merchants, and many thrift and second-time-around shops for those who would rather not (or simply can't afford to) spend ridiculous amounts of money on clothing and shoes. Where Central Mall lies somewhat fallow, Parkway is as busy as ever, due to its reasonable prices and focus on staple goods and services.

South 62nd StreetOne of the most important streets in the city, South 62nd Street is home to St. Mary's Mercy Medical Hospital, the Court House, and the City Hall. Lots of important business goes on here, and you can often see a strange mix of business suits and scrubs meandering down the street's sidewalk doing their daily tasks.
