The East Wing

The science labs are on the first floor of the East Wing, rooms that dwarf regular classrooms and feature the typical setup for any traditionalist American high school laboratory, down to the safety chemical shower in each. The second and third floors primarily house the 9th and 10th-grade homerooms. The halls featured the STEM subjects of the school, with classes that cater to those subjects typically located there, so as a natural byproduct, the East Wing's hallways tended to be blander, quieter, and less frequently trafficked by students than most of the rest of the school. Now, however, it seems as though they'll be just another battleground.

  • The Science Laboratories (East Wing 1F)
The science laboratories are on the first floor of the East Wing, rooms that dwarf regular classrooms and feature the typical setup for any standard traditionalist American high school laboratory, down to the safety chemical shower in each. The doors for the science laboratories were always heavy due to being designed to be more resilient to possible accidents; it seems on inspection that these doors are virtually vault-like now, a touch-up added by the hackers, perhaps for dramatic gravitas. Shelves upon shelves of glassware and dangerous chemicals remain present for the taking, under lock and key, but those keys are found in the teacher's desks, just as one would otherwise expect.

  • The Empty Classrooms (East Wing 2F) [DANGER ZONE]
The East Wing's second floor housed the Freshman Year (9th Grade) homerooms. Once, Sycamore High School's youngest students roamed these halls and filled them with the sound of unruly antics. Now, though, they are barren of life and as silent as the grave. The homerooms on this floor are empty; tables, chairs, study materials, the belongings of the students, even the whiteboards, all missing—as if someone deleted everything not otherwise nailed down and many of the things that were.

  • The Sorted Classrooms (East Wing 3F)
The East Wing's third floor housed the Sophomore Year (10th Grade) homerooms. The center of the school's mathematics classes, these halls were always the quietest of all, ruled over by the school's strictest disciplinarians. They're just as calm as ever. There is a clean, prim-and-proper look throughout the area. Furthermore, in every room, one will find the same sight: all the tables and chairs, neatly piled up into one mountain in the middle, as if someone wanted to sweep the floors.
