Appearance: Steph is a very effeminate boy. He only stands at a height of 5’6, and weighs in at 115. His hair is strawberry blonde and hangs down to his shoulders. He has evergreen eyes that glow in the sunlight, and long lashes that most girls would kill for. He has a completely unblemished face, and a small nose that fits his face perfectly. He hides his face behind his bangs, so most of the time his beautiful eyes are hidden from view. His skin has a very fair complexion, not pale but very light. He is very thin, but has a lean build from his father’s constant workouts. On the trip he wears a horizontally striped grey and black V-neck tee-shirt covered by a white jacket, and a pair of grey fitted jeans. On his feet is a pair of black converse sneakers. He also has two emerald studs in each ear.

Biography: Steph was born on July 18th to parents Amelia and Howard Collins. He has two older brothers, Andrew who is 3 years older, and Julian who is 7 years older. Both of his brothers were his father’s shining children, always getting dirty and playing sports, while Stephan was more of a momma’s boy, helping his mother in the kitchen and playing with toys in his room. His brothers picked on him constantly when he was growing up, and soon, other kids took after them. Many a day Steph would come home with new bruises and cuts. His parents were concerned for him, and scolded his brothers constantly. Soon, his father cooked up an idea to make his youngest more of a man. Every other day he would take his son to the basement and the two would work out together, Howard trying to instill some sort of backbone in the child. But Steph was always a peace-lover, and even when other kids would bully him and beat him, he never fought back, even when he had the strength to.

Steph became very interested in the arts at a young age. In grammar school he got involved in the school plays, and convinced his mother to get him guitar lessons. He became quite the guitarist, and an excellent actor as well by the time he reached high school. In high school, he grew into himself. He was a very handsome boy, and girls began to take notice of him. He is very shy though, thanks to the mental beatings bullies had engraved in him throughout the years, and tended to keep away from anyone interested in him. Freshman year he took an art course at the instruction of his mother, and fell in love with sketching. He was very talented, and his teacher recommended him for quite a few scholarships in his senior year. He never lost interest in music or drama either, becoming well rounded in fine arts, and hoping to study them more intricately in college. He was one of the lead roles in his junior and senior plays, and performed regularly with his guitar at a café in town as a job.

In high school, the bulling got worse for Steph. Many people started to call him a faggot and a queer because of his looks, and he soon became confused as to which sex he preferred. Stephan went on many different sites, trying to deduce his sexuality, but he is still very confused about it. He seems to like girls, but never romantically or sexually, and his brothers have made sure to instill a fear of other boys in him since he was a child. He does sometimes find himself staring at the jock boys when changing for gym class, leading to more name-calling.

Steph is not very personable, but is able to make friends. Usually they’re the ones to approach him though. He can be funny when with people he feels comfortable around, and people can put their faith in him. He would never backstab a friend. He hangs out with anyone who is kind to him really. He doesn't fit in with any real cliques, the closest he comes to that is his friends in the drama club or the other artists. He's a very good friend once you get past his initial shyness.

Steph has planned to study at the Pratt Institute in New York for college, thankfully away from his tormentors and hometown. He goes on the class trip at the request of friends, but wishes he didn’t have to.

After he realizes what their trip will really be, he'll wish he never agreed.

Advantages: He can move pretty quickly because of his small stature, and he has a decent amount of strength thanks to his father trying to force masculinity on him.
Disadvantages: He got bullied in school a lot, and those people might take things too far on the island. He’s never even fought back in a fight before, so it’s safe to say he might freeze up on the island and pay for it dearly.
