Appearance: Grant Teitel has a build that is indicative of the fact that he favors academia over the outdoors. He stands at 5'8'' and had a thin build with little visible muscle and pale skin. Mr. Teitel has small blue eyes and what hair remains on the sides of his head is brown, though there is a rather sizable bald spot on the top of his head. Mr. Teitel dresses in a combination of casual and corporate style, normally wearing a gaudy Hawaiian shirt on top with khaki pants on the bottom.  

Biography/Personality: Mr. Teitel is a mellow and laid back math teacher who tends to structure his classes with lecture for the first half and in-class work on the assigned homework for the second half. He speaks in a monotonous tone that easily bores many students with a few slipping into day dreams, but the second half is greatly enjoyed with lots of chatter as students work in groups. Although Mr. Teitel is boring in lecture, he has a good sense of humor and many students enjoy chatting with him.

He's been teaching at the school for eight years and although he is not one of the most popular teachers and never attends school events or sporting games, he is well liked for his casual demeanor. He is patient with students and is happy to explain things to them one on one after they inevitably doze off during the class lecture. His one indulgence is online poker and during the class work period he can sometimes be seen playing it on his computer.
