Round one, fight three; Brad vs. Melissa

Sure, it's a little grungy, a little dirty... but Shooters is almost like a tradition in Highland Beach. Some claim that their food is the best in the whole town. Others come for the concerts held on the second story, and still others flock into Shooters to loiter in the basement pool room. Open 24 hours a day, it's the perfect place to hide out when the parental units are driving you nuts.

God, Melissa's so confusing. I think that fall must've done something to that girl's head or something. I bet she really does thing that she's a lion. Jesus, does this girl have mental problems!

Brad watched Melissa circle him, hearing her laugh (which, to Brad, sounded more lika a cackle than anything else). What appeared to be sanity to everyone else looked completely different to Brad. This girl's fucking insane! Brad stood his ground, deciding it best not to take a chance that he'd most likely regret after the fact. He smirked, clenching his left hand a few times, trying to get the circulation running again. He winced, his hand going numb for a second before turning back to normal. She gave him a good beating when she had him pinned to the ground, and Brad was going to make damn sure it wasn't going to happen again.

"I'm ready. Don't keep me waiting." He called to her, still on the defensive. He kept his left foot forward, eyes eyes wandering with the girl, making sure that she didn't come charging at him suddenly from behind. It appeared that Brad wasn't as stupid-minded that Melissa had assumed he was(although he had no idea of this, either). His mind was calm, clear of all negative thoughts and feelings. His one, main concern was makind sure that he could take anything the she-beast could throw at him, and still stand tall.

((Rock Band first, then posty. I'll have it up today though.))

He had become more aware than she had thought, her eyes fixated on him, every so often connecting with his gaze. Melissa kept her speed for a few moments, then, ever so suddenly, she sped up, and weaved around, jumping back a few steps and still circling her opponent.

She tensed her arms and started to pump as if she were going for a series of jabs, she had gotten a bit of distance and was behind him slightly, more diagonal, to get a sprint, and knowing her speed was an advantage, she smiled one more time.

Then she dropped, using her momentum, tucking her arms toward her midsection, and preparing a massive, adrenaline filled mule-kick aimed for the side of Brad's knee. If that didn't work, it'd bring him down to her level, and she was prepared to leg lock him as soon as he did.

It was true that, although having changed dramatically in the three months that he was away, Brad was very slow. He took his time with things, and never liked to rush things up. Of course, this quirk of him seemed to be biting him right back in the ass, as his opponent began to speed up, circling him over and over again. His eyes couldn't keep up with her movements, and his head swerved.

He kept his ground, however. At that moment, a small picture in Brad's mind flashed before his eyes. She's going to attack you soon, Brad. Keep steady. Like clockwork, Melissa changed her position and attempted to kick the side of his knee. Under normal circumstances, Brad would have gotten hit, and his knee would have been under a hell of alot of pain as a result. This, however, was not the case. He dodged the blow successfully, surprising even himself. It took him a second to register what was going on.

Wait! She's on the ground. With a deep grin, Brad rushed forward, trying his best to catch Melissa before she would get up from the ground. Heh... let's see how this bitch likes a taste of her own medicine. He arrived at the girl's head, lifting his right leg upwards, sending it back down. If his foot were to hit the side of her head, the pain resulting from it would distract her. If she happened to dodge it, Brad knew that he could pull another quick move to turn the tables back on his side. Heh... I have her where I want her

Brad lucked out, but Melissa snapped quickly, able to see the foot before it could reach her head. She rolled, and taking the chance to put a dent in whatever his offensive plan, she kicked with both her feet into the back of his knee as his foot was still in the air.

Moving quicker than she had at all this fight, she flung herself and aimed to lock her legs around his stomach. Her hands simultaneously went to wrap tightly around his throat. At this point, she was going for a chokeout, since the facial damage was only proving to peturbe.

Melissa's feet felt like sledgehammers when they connected with his knee. He grunted, stopping for a minute to regain his composure. Melissa was smarter than Brad would have ever anticipated, and every hit she threw at him hurt like hell. The pain of course wasn't going to stop the boy anytime soon, and everyone in the basement(including himself) knew this. Brad was just as desperate to win as Melissa was, maybe even more so. Her kick did put a dent in his offense, but it only appeared to be very small.

Everything changed when Brad noticed Melissa's hands wrapping around his neck.

S-she can't be seriously be thinking... Brad's thoughts came to a grinding halt, as he felt the girl begin to choke him. He grunted again, gasping for air. It was a surprise to see the girl move as fast as she just did, and it impressed Brad. He knew that if he didn't do something soon, he would have to tap out. His mind began to pulsate, trying to find a way out of the predicament he was in.

Then, it all became clear.

Brad chuckled, coughing slightly. He wrapped one of his arms around the girl's waist and his other around her thigh.

"Y-you don't know... how seriously fucked you are."

With a sudden jerk, Brad threw his head forward, forcing past the strength of Melissa's hands, trying to slam it into her head. What Melissa had forgotten to realize that, even though she had tackled him, his left foot was still touching the ground, albeit completely under both his and her weight. His right foot was still on the ground, not completely touching it, but not completely. If he could get her to shift her weight up, just a tiny bit, Brad could get back onto his feet, with Melissa in tow. She would be completely helpless, and Brad could deliver that final blow that he had been aching to give Melissa from the first hit she gave him. It was a long shot, but what did he have to lose? He was already in a fuckload of pain, so what's the problem with more of the same?

"Funny you should say fucked."

And with her hands switching into a chokehold with her arms instead, she let her weight fall heavier on him and loosened one leg enough to send her heel for his balls.

It was instantaneously apparent what Melissa was going to do when she shifted her weight down on him. Brad tried to stop the collision from her heel with his right leg. It did block the hit, although the force of the kick itself forced his own leg to collide with his privates. It wasn't as bad as it could have been, but it still made Brad wince. God... damn.... it.... This girl is... desperate...

Brad wanted to get out of the sleeperhold. His plan might still work, but that wasn't what Brad was focusing on. With a force that Brad had yet to show Melissa, he let his right hand go of her waist and jabbed it right into the side of her head. He growled under his breath, panting loudly. "Get. O-OFF... of... Me..."

I don't think I can last much longer. I got... I got to overcome this, or I'm finished.

Melissa compared the jab to her head to a crowd surfer falling on top of her, and that, was a damn painful thing. Especially when that type of thing happens a lot more than one would wish. She winced and Opted for a plan that she hadn't wanted to originally do, but if she wanted to make the championship of this brawlfest, she found that her limits would have to be extended.

She moved her head towards Brad's shoulder and bit down, her abnormally sharp canines would bruise, if not, break skin if she got a good enough hold. Then she quickly went to clamp her hands onto his face so that her thumbs were right at Brad's eyes. The pressure she was aiming to apply would either cause him the fight.... or his sight.

Up to this point, Brad had never been bitten by another person before. This first experience was one that he hoped would never happen ever again. He cringed, the girl's teeth broke into the flesh around his neck. A heavy growl came from his mouth, reluctantly pausing for a moment. God... DAMN IT! I think... I have... to.... He was just about to give it all up, but he noticed something. Her arms had moved from his neck to his head. Her weight shifted, although her legs were still wrapped around his waist.

Thank God! IT'S AN OPENING! With a grin, he used all the energy in his tired body to try to flip the girl on her back. He had noticed Melissa's reaction to his jab to the side of her head, and he knew what it was that he had to do. He might lose his sight, but if he was going to lose, then she wasn't going to get away without a few bruises neither. He was going to pound her face up. Brad really didn't want to, but there was no choice in the matter. Dog eat Dog. Melissa was going to learn how much of a fucking psycho Brad could be.

As the bell sounded Melissa could feel herself flipping over, but the moment she landed she felt a nasty pop. On her knees, she had flipped over Brad's back and her arm had just dislocated.

She shut her eyes tight and took in a sharp breath, but when Montezzo tried to lift her arm for a win she pulled back and shook her head.

"Take care of it before the next match or you forfeit."

"Hnnh. Okay."

OOC: I've gotten word from the other judges; Melissa advances. Wrap it up if you want, but otherwise good match.
