Appearance: Gus isn't anything close to what he used to be. He has shrunk down from his former 6'0'' height to around 5'9''-5'10'' and his one muscular body is showing the tell tale signs of a retiree with a pot belly and lack of definition. His face is aged, complete with a couple scars from his glory days of the NHL. He still has managed to retain a ring of hair a la Hulk Hogan/George Castanza, but despite this usually wears a very faded Minnesota North Stars hat. His attire is usually a comfy pair of slacks or sweat pants and a flannel shirt.

Biography: Gus grew up in Scotland but moved to Minnesota when he was 10. It was there that he was introduced to hockey. As he got older, his skills were good enough for him to be selected to be a part of the Boston Bruins organisation, where he quickly established himself as a gritty tough guy willing to fight anyone anytime, but still had a penchant for putting the puck in the net. After his retirement Gus retreated back to St. Paul where he applied to drive the zamboni at the local rink. After seeing how the local hockey scene was in shambles, Gus appealed to the city and had the rink manager fired, with Gus taking his spot. Through creative marketing and upgrades to the rink, Gus managed to re-spark the interest in hockey in St. Paul. Though Gus is quite proud of his NHL history, very few people in St. Paul know that Gus is indeed the NHL player Gus McVeity, as Gus has decided to keep that fact to himself.
