Name: Renae Hoffman
Position: Drama Teacher
Gender: Female
Age: 29

Appearance: Mrs. Hoffman is a short, curvy woman at 5' 4" and 160 pounds, still struggling to shed the weight from her recent pregnancy. She is Caucasian and rather pasty in complexion, with a smattering of freckles on her face and arms. Her eyes are light green and her ginger hair is very thick and curly, most often tamed into a ponytail or braid. She wears simple makeup in earthy tones, and has a fondness for dangling bead earrings. She dresses primarily in dark colors, feeling that they flatter her the most, and prefers blouses and slacks, with tall heeled shoes to boost her height.

Biography/Personality: Mrs. Hoffman has bounced from school to school all over Tennessee, following her army-enlisted husband from base to base. She enjoys the spontaneity of their on-the-move existence, but with the recent birth of their first child, she and Mr. Hoffman have been considering settling in Chattanooga at least semi-permanently. George Hunter High School was without a dedicated drama teacher for the first couple of years after it was established, and Mrs. Hoffman jumped at the chance when it was offered to her. In the year or so since, she has managed to attract a fair number of students to the drama program, though it isn't yet as popular as the other fine arts.

Mrs. Hoffman is a kind, if slightly ditzy, woman. She is rather disorganized and scatterbrained, often needing her students to remind her to stay on topic or that she scheduled a meeting with some of them that day. Due to the rather loose structure of her classes, some students treat them as blowoff courses, a practice which she is so-far unsuccessfully trying to nip in the bud. Mrs. Hoffman is ambitious with her projects and with the productions she chooses to put on; while her issues with planning and organization have not yet resulted in a disaster, some predict that it is only a matter of time.
