Lesedi Gerber

NPCs (non-player characters) go here. This section is for characters who will not be participating in the game, including teachers and school administration. To encourage consistency, the staff have created a number of ready-made teachers, all of whom are available for free handler use unless stated otherwise. Please link any appearances these staff make in threads by replying to their topics. For this pregame, any additional NPCs will require staff approval on a case-by-case basis. Please contact staff if you wish to create any NPCs, and note that we will generally be trying to keep their numbers slim; pregame is, first and foremost, about the students.

Lesedi Gerber

Name: Lesedi Gerber
Position: Security Guard
Gender: Female
Age: 34

Appearance: Lesedi is a woman of South African heritage. She is a tall, at 5'11", with a powerful physical build, weighing in at 183 lbs. She has hard features, including a chiselled jaw, sharp eyes and a broad nose and mouth combo. She wears her security guard uniform on the job, a black ensemble with the school logo embroidered on the shoulder. She keeps her black frizzy hair tied back into a ponytail.

Biography/Personality: Lesedi was an aspiring mixed martial arts fighter, who has worked a number of security jobs to fund her training. She never did quite make the cut, however, and now considers herself past her prime. Having reconciled with this, she's opted to move on to training the next generation, and is currently working towards becoming a coach in the sport.

On the job, Lesedi is curt and humourless. She is quick to crack down on perceived threats and keeps a keen eye out for them, though she does have a bad habit of taking smoke breaks quite regularly. Whilst civil with the students, she has little interest in compromising her authority with familiarity, and so she remains an aloof, intimidating figure in the halls.
"Art enriches the community, Steve, no less than a pulsing fire hose, or a fireman beating down a blazing door. So what if we're drawing a nude man? So what if all we ever draw is a nude man, or the same nude man over and over in all sorts of provocative positions? Context, not content! Process, not subject! Don't be so gauche, Steve, it's beneath you."
