He nodded and scratched his jaw. "That sounds about right. I should probably head out soon. Got some things to do, and then homework. But good luck with your article. Maybe I'll see you around later?"
He smiled and started moving toward the exit closest to the student parking lot. He looked back once more and waved before sliding out into the sun that he'd missed all day during school.
