"Okay, let's go," Tanisha said.

Tanisha adjusted the strap of her bag and kept her shotgun to the ground. She began to walk in the direction Nikki headed off in. She wasn't sure how long this partnership was going to last, but she was at least going to try. Something would have to turn around for her at some point. Something would have to for all of them.

There were two too many shotguns here.

But... that was what things were, right now.

Shauna picked this up and that meant she owned the responsibility of it. For protection, for everything else that could, not would, could come from it.

She'd been selfish and now she had to own that.

"Coming," Shauna murmured, more to herself than Tanisha.
