When we last left this sad sack...

Events from characters' pasts that occurred outside the timeframe of our current "Past" (be it the day before or nearly a year prior) are posted here. This forum served as a repository for posts ported from the V1 board or summaries of characters as written by their handlers. It has been replicated for the sake of completeness. All IC posts contained here may be read elsewhere in the V2 Pregame archive, often in more complete form. Summaries are unique to this board.

Damien Carter-Madison

...he was getting himself into yet another sticky situation. But in case you're just tuning in now, here's a recap of what went down since his début.

It was just another "ordinary" day for Damien at the prestigious P.J. Gilroy Academy, and one filled with extra fear, for starters. Arriving with few precious seconds to spare, he darts about the hallways like an Iraqi insurgent trying to get away from some pesky Marines toward Mrs. Garrick's homeroom. Upon arriving, he finds the only seat is in the "geographic middle of the classroom," in the gunsights of anybody that wants to threaten him. Particularly, rich-kid Marvin Hendrick.

He tries not to look when a blonde bombshell of a student decides to go apeshit on a student that tried to steal something from her, but is inevitably drawn into her path. Marvin, having failed to negotiate her into his gang, takes out his frustration on Damien and - to add insult to injury - acts like he's helping the boy when the teacher's looking.

This mysterious(ly sadistic) blonde - Kristey Burrowell - decides to defend Damien, one thing leading to another leading to a confrontation with Marvin's entire gang, including his boss and chief tormentor Reneé. Damien manages to get out after nearly having his neck broken by a very aggravated and scared Marvin. Kristey follows him to keep him company while he cowers outside his next class.

It is about this time that Damien starts hearing voices in his head. But anyway.

Later that night, during another of his über-bearing single mother's lectures on school discipline, she makes known the fact that she's running for the District Board of Education, a fact Damien dreads as the last thing he needs is more air-time as the poster child for the victimized.
