Schoolhouse Rock [[CONTENT WARNING]]

Venturing into the remains...

The island school is relatively small, and, in another place and time, the school may have provided a relaxing setting. The school consists of many classrooms, a basement, a football field, and a small gymnasium. It may prove a valuable place to hide, providing someone else doesn't wish to occupy your room. The structure remains as it was the day the island was evacuated, there are even items left in the students' desks.

((I apologize if any of this seems a bit godmodded, but I'd like to end this soon.  Other engagements and all that good jazz.))

Things were going all too well.  Matt genuinely seemed to think he was in control, and inside, Sera was laughing hysterically.  Up until this point in the game, she'd let him think he was the alpha wolf.  She'd let him think that she and the remainder of his little gang would do anything and everything he said to do without question.  A light smirk appeared on her lips as Matt continued along, still seeming to think he was in complete control.

She allowed herself to fall back onto the desk as Matt pushed her down and pulled himself onto the desk along with her.  He continued along slowly, almost as if he were waiting for her to take control again.  If that was what Matthew Drew wanted, that was certainly what he'd get.  He was all but grinding into her at this point, so needless to say, it was probably a bit of a shock when Sera's arms slid up to his shoulders and pushed him onto his back, almost knocking him off the narrow desk in the process.

She slid her panties down quickly and let them fall off the side of the desk before straddling Matt's hips with her own and placing her hands down on his chest.  Her eyebrows raised slightly and a light smirk once again as she leaned down close to his face.

"The whole world's watching," she whispered quietly, obviously entertained by the idea of it, "Hope you can give 'em a show."

((diddo?))

Sera knocked Matthew almost clear off the desk as she continued to do just as he intended. Her getting on him wasn't that big of a deal, seeing as most girls liked it better that way. It was the erie feeling he got as he was reminded of the time in the hospital with the girl he couldn't even know remember the name of. As if that wasn't bad enough, the realization that the whole world was watching finally after almost a week clicked in. While his buddies back home would be cheering him on, what would his family think? He figured his parents and sister wouldn't be to pleased.

Look at me... I'm fucking one of the hottest girls I've met so far and I'm thinking of my family! He thought instead of answering her right away.

In an attempt to mask the dissapointment he had for himself, Matthew took his arms and with a strong heeve had Sera beneith him again. He didn't really care for her ontop of him anyways.

As he grabbed her thigh and the edge of the desk, he began to push himself again and again into her as he resumed bitting her shoulder and neck while his left hand travled down to her left breast and began thumbing the nipple of it. While he was able to sustain his hips to go a steady and pleasing pace, he move his head slowly back to Sera's face. Looking directly at her lips he moved his just above hers but didn't let them touch. He allowed his tongue to lightly graze across her full lower lip and just before it seemed like he was going to kiss her, he'd back his head out of range. He wanted to know if she really wanted him or if she was just in it for the thrill.

((Sorry lovie, duty calls IRL and all that good stuff.  Is it me or is this scene dragging on FOREVER?))

It took him a moment, probably to recover from the shock of being nearly knocked off the desk, but Matt took control of the situation again, a bit more aggressively than most people would've cared for... but not Sera.  In fact, all but being powerslammed into the teacher's desk was a bit of a thrill, especially when he proceeded to drive himself into her.

She moaned out, probably a bit louder than necessary, but it was all part of the show, at least in her mind.  Matt moved his face just above her own, his lips only centimeters away from hers, and for perhaps the first time since she'd met him, she got a good look at the boy.  As looks go, she could've done a lot worse than this one.

He continued to tease her, holding his lips just far enough away from hers so that they couldn't touch.  In between all the teasing and the toying with, it gave Sera a brief moment to get a good look at the guy who she'd been leading along like a puppy dog, allowing to think he was in control.  Somewhere in the back of her mind, for a brief second, she almost felt... guilty.

Maybe it was a tinge of sympathy for the unwitting young man.  Maybe it was something else... still, the undeniable fact was that there was a knot welling up in the pit of Sera's stomach, just for that brief second.  She quickly pushed the thoughts into the inner recesses of her mind.  There was no room in a place like this for sympathy and guilt.

Still, she didn't remove her gaze from his own.  Regardless of what happened afterward, they could both enjoy the moment.

((I hear ya.))

Matthew couldn't help but be more turned on by the fact that Sera kept her gaze locked with his own. He kissed her hard almost causing the back of her head to hit the desk. Matt knew that if he wanted to appear like he knew what he was doing he should probably be more careful. There was something about Sera that made him get a funny feeling in his tummy, and it wasn't the good kind of feeling you're supposed to have either. Thoughts of 'what happends after' played over and over in his head like a broken record player skipping again and again.

They had been going at it for a while now and Matthew could feel his body start to tense up. His panting became heavier as more sweat began to gather at his brow and along the spine of his back. Sera reacted accordingly with 'ooo's' and 'awww's' which for the most part kept Matthew going. The tingling sensation swept through his body quickly as his pace sped up causing him to grab on tightly to Sera's hips almost worrying that he might be hurting her. Judging by her reaction of noises and back grabbing he knew he was doing a good job.

The tingling washed through him once more as an indication that Matt was coming towards the finish line. Quickly he withdrew just intime to finish into his palm, giving himself a slight handjob to get all of it out. Matthew walked over to the corner where his shirt was and wiped his hand and penis off using his waterbottle to make sure he was all clean before putting his pants back on.

Walking back to the desk where Sera was still laying, Matthew tossed the shirt in the waste basket and leaned in to give her one more kiss before retreiving her underwear and bra for her to put back on. He looked up at the camera giving a smug look of pleasure and walked back to the door to double check it was locked.

"I'm going to check the closet across the hall in the office there. Maybe they have a blanket or something. I think it'd be best to sleep here then check for food early in the morning before annoucements."

Matthew opened the door before Sera had a chance to respond and went straight for the office. In the closet he found two blankets most likely used for the kids on the cots when they were sick and seat pillow off one of the chairs. He returned quickly to the classroom and locked the door again behind him. Clearing some desks in the middly making almost a fortress type thing with them, he laid the blankets down and put the pillow at the top on the side designated for Sera.

"You can have the pillow. I'm used to not using one."

Her own panting became heavier and her moans became louder as they continued on.  She was enjoying herself, but she was definitely putting on a show as well.  She'd always felt the need to, and the guys she'd been with all seemed to enjoy it.  She figured it made them think they were doing something right.  Matt certainly didn't seem to be any exception to the rule.  The increased rapidness of Matt's movements let her know that he was almost done, and she couldn't help but feel just a little bit disappointed by it.

So where do we go from here...?

She masked the slight frowned that threatened to come across her face as he withdrew and finished off himself.  At least he had manners, even though the odds of either of them winning this game were slim to none.  She didn't pay much attention to what he was doing as he walked to the other side of the room.  Instead, she lay on the desk a moment, attempting to catch her breath.

Maybe she would've been able to enjoy it more if it hadn't happened under the circumstances.

She didn't dwell on it for too long, it wasn't something worth thinking about.  Matt returned with her clothing a moment later, which she obligingly took from him.  He informed her that he was going across the hallway to check for blankets and pillows.  It was getting late, and the original intention of coming into the school building had been to rest for the night.  Funny, neither one of them had gotten much rest out of the deal.

She didn't have time to respond as he shut the door, so instead, she went about putting her clothes back on.  The fact that he was suddenly being so nice to her wasn't doing him any favors... she was more into the dominating, heartless guy who'd planned on taking Kapustiak up on his offer.  He seemed... different... now.  She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but the bad boy image he'd originally projected seemed to have long since faded into obscurity.

She leaned back against the desk once again and closed her eyes.  They hadn't encountered anyone in quite a while... she could only surmise from that fact that there weren't many people left on the island.  Matt quickly returned to the room with some commodities and proceeded to rearrange the room to the point that he could make a pallette on the floor.  He muttered something about giving her the pillow, and she only nodded in response.

"Thanks."

She flopped down on the pallette on the floor and laid her head back against the pillow.  She hadn't realized just how tired she was until that moment.  Exhaustion, both mental and physical, had taken its toll on her, and the thoughts plaguing her mind weren't helping matters much.

"Serious question," she uttered finally, turning her attention toward Matt, "What happens if we're the only two left?  Neither one of us wants to die here.  Are we supposed to rock, paper, scissors for it or something?"

Matthew hated serious questions. They're usually always a trap, specially when they're being asked by a girl. Not knowing if he should lighten the mood by making a joke or answer her question with all the seriousness it deserved. It was clear as to what he'd do. Nothing.

Matthew turned over to face away from her and mumbled that they'd talk about it in the morning. In all honestly, Matthew had no idea what they would do. Sure she was hot and she'd given him a good time, but does that mean he'd die for her? Hell no. Would he kill her? Probably not. Thus, he was stuck in a really bad pickle. It'd be easier if Rob was with him. He didn't really seem to like Sera and he'd probably have no problem getting rid of her or whatever. Remembering Rob's reaction he had back at the hospital with that girl he almost got lucky with, he decided that if he did meet up with his buddy again, and for the protection of his boys, he wouldn't tell him about the night with Sera.

Laying there wondering what Sera was thinking about his blatten dismissal of her question he wondered if this far in his life he'd really done the right thing... and if there was any way he could have avoided being on this island. As selfish as it was, he gladly trade places with any one of his friends who were back at home even if it did mean not spending those precious 20 minutes with Sera. He imagined his sister Giselle hanging out with her boyfriend at home watching on of their favourite shows, talking about how Matthew pissed her off yet again. His mom would be in the kitchen doing the dishes, probably complaining because no one cares to check the dishwasher before putting dishes in the sink... before going outside to water the plants. His dad would just be coming home from work on his motorcycle, coming through the door and plopping into his LazyBoy chair before turning the channel from what Giselle and her boyfriend were watching to the News. Deep down Matthew wish he was there... even if it ment his parents yelling at him for being late or not doing his homework or being caught with pot again.

Laying there, now growing cold but not yet wanting to move closer to Sera, he wondered how much his family really missed him. Over the past four years Matthew involved himself with drugs and lots of booze. He'd been pulled over by the cops more times than he could count on his two hands and feet and had been forced to stay over night in a holding cell atleast three times because he talked back to the copper. Many times he'd been yelled at by his parents to smarten up his life and not waste it away with friends who didn't really care about him. As much as he hated to admit it, he knew they were always right and just looking out for him. Hell, if they hadn't of warned him about his one buddy Anthony, he'd most likely would have been dead way before he even was entered into this game.

He remembered telling Giselle what happend and how she was so angry she wanted to march right over to his buddy's house and kick the crap out of him. Matthew dated Anthony 'girl' really being the girl he had a crush on. Seeing as Tony always saw Matthew as a spot light stealer he planned to get him so drunk he couldn't walk and lay him on the train tracks behind their house. You could say his life was a little screwy. The more he thought about it the more he knew he had to get hom and tell him family how much he loved them. He wasn't from this point on going to let anyone stop him from getting home.

"Goodnight Sera." He said now laying on his back with his arms behind his head propping it up slightly for him. He wasn't as cold anymore now that he had calmed himself down and starting thinking about ways he could get out of here. Tomorrow was going to be a new day and he was going to start as soon as he could. If he was going to go home he'd have to get prepared.

I'm going home.

((Godmodding done with permission from Baby_G.))

Matt didn't even dignify her question with a decent response.  Somehow, though, it was the exact answer Sera had been expecting.  They'd talk about it "in the morning"?  There was no guarantee that they'd even be alive in the morning.  There was no guarantee that either of them would ever wake up again if they let themselves drift off into even the lightest slumber.  Then again, what was she really expecting him to say?  That he'd kill himself so she could go home?  No, she hadn't expected that.  Matt was the sort of person who was too focused on himself to take other people into consideration for too long, he'd shown that already.

Instead, he just rolled away from her.

She'd been thinking about things for a while now, although she hadn't spoken up about it.  Only one wins, that's the name of the game.  This boy, he was just a toy... something to provide her with some sort of amusement during her time on the island.  He was a meatshield, a time filler, someone to keep around to attempt to keep some shred of sanity in this place.  At least, that's what she kept telling herself.  That's what she had to tell herself to keep running the game.

He didn't say much after that, simply uttering goodnight to her.  He was obviously deep in thought, and that disturbed Sera somewhat.  Matt wasn't a person who had ever struck her as a deep thinker, so seeing him so quiet and wrapped up in his own thoughts made her somewhat...  nervous.  She couldn't help but think that maybe he was conspiring against her.  She was part of the competition, after all.  She was one of she figured about fifteen or so people left to beat in the game before someone could go home.

I can't help but wonder if I've done the right thing here.  My actions have never had consequences... even in school, it didn't matter who we picked on... it didn't matter who we made fun of.  We were the popular kids, and we made the rules.  The other people, they were just there... just mindless little drones with no free will.  They did as they were told... they either tried desperately to fit in with us or kept to themselves and made sure to stay away from us.  Back at Bathurst, we were the law... and that's just how it was.  But here... now... things are so much different.  I don't know what's right and wrong anymore...

But maybe... I never did.

Sera sighed slightly and rolled over on her side.  It wasn't as though she'd get any rest anyway.  She could sleep when she was dead, even though now that that expression was a lot more literal, it was quite chilling.  It didn't take Matt long to fall asleep after that.  She barely noticed, but his shallow breathing was quite the indicator.  Then again, he must've been exhausted too.  They'd all been in this place for a very, very long time... it seemed like they'd been on this island for years, when in reality it had only been a matter of days.  Time is based on one's perception, or something like that.

The more she thought about it, the more uncomfortable his answer made her.  Maybe paranoia was starting to take its toll on her, but he seemed less and less trustworthy as time went on.  Then again, she had never really trusted him anyway.  She had done what was in her own best interests.  She'd teamed up with Jana to use her as sort of a meat shield.  She'd played off her planned murder of Brandon Cuthbert and Adam Amato like Brandon had been some deranged psychopath and she had been caught in the crossfire of a terrible accident.  Then, she'd played Kevin like a flute when she'd aligned herself with him.

When Kevin just didn't do the job anymore, when he lost to Matt and Rob back at the park, she made no effort to save him, even though he was her ally.  Kevin was, after all, just a stepping stone on the way to Sera's victory.  Him dying hadn't been too much of a loss.  She'd gained a new, more powerful ally along the way... one that, at the time, seemed like he would bend over backward for her.  As time went by, Matt proved not to be the powerful ally she'd imagined, but instead, just an atypical guy bent on getting one thing.

And, as more time went by, she started to notice that he was very much out for himself... just like her.  His words right before he had fallen asleep had definitely confirmed that much.  The thoughts continued brooding in her mind as she lay there staring at the legs of the desks around her.  She sat up on the pallette, her attention turning to Matt, who was fast asleep.

Kill or be killed...

She kept getting the frightening premonition that if she didn't do him in, she'd be the one slaughtered by him in the end.  Her daypack was there, just sitting in the floor, beckoning her to reach into it and extract her accumulated weaponry.  He'd been good to her, but his usefulness was quickly dwindling, and the more time went by, the less of an asset and the more of a burden he would become.  Sera sighed audibly.  She hadn't been this conflicted when she played Adam and Brandon against one another and eliminated both of them from the competition.  This time, it was different.  It was... a lot harder.

Still, Sera found herself slowly crawling toward the daypack lying on the floor.  She unzipped it quietly, and her hands scowered the insides for something... anything.  She would quickly find the Ruger Redhawk she'd taken off of Adam so long ago.  She'd only fired it maybe twice since then.  Her eyes closed tightly as she held the gun in her hands.

Why... why is this so hard?

She flicked off the safety on the gun before making her way back across the floor to where Matt was lying.  She climbed on top of him, letting her legs straddle his hips.  She continued to look down at the sleeping boy, and despite knowing that this was her only option, she couldn't shake the feelings of guilt that plagued her.  Her fingers traced his lower lip slowly, and she couldn't help the tears that were threatening to well up in the corners of her eyes.

Big girls don't cry, Sera.  It's part of the game.  You have no choice.

Her lips pressed against his own, perhaps for a little longer than they should have.  She was making this harder on herself.  He wasn't special.  He was just a guy... a toy... a meatshield... one that had outlived his usefulness.  He was just one more body standing between her and victory... and he had to be eliminated.  Still, it hurt... for some reason, it really did hurt.  Reluctantly, she raised the gun, placing it square on Matt's forehead.

"It's really nothing personal," she whispered, "You were the best I'd had... in a long time."

And then, she pulled the trigger.

MATT DREW - DECEASED

((Sorry Megs  Image ))

It's kind of cold in here. Where'd Sera go? Leave it to women to love you one moment and bolt the next.

As erie as it was, there Matthew stood in the same class room he and Sera had just occupied moment before. He stood staring at the door he'd locked before turning around.

Oh, okay there she is.

Matthew turned to face where he was laying as saw Sera sitting up looking down at something. As he rounded the desks he had set up in a fortess type style she realized what she was pointing at. Panic swept over his chilled face as he looked upon the sight of Sera strattling himself while he was fast asleep.

"Sera get the fuck off me! Fucking Wake Up! Wake Up!"

He tried to move closer to himself and her but even when he touched them it was like he wasn't even there. He touched the arm of him laying there helpless and it just felt like an icecube. He tried to violently shake Sera off of him but she felt like brick on a cold winter day. He backed away quickly realizing what was going on. He was in a bad dream and had to wake up and get out of the school, find Rob and keep moving before Sera could wake up and kill him.

Wake up, fucking wake up... come on.

No matter how many times he pinched his arm he wasn't able to shake what as going on. The windows were open and it was bright outside, the sun rays floating in lighting up half the room. Matthew quickly looked out them to see not the island anymore but his front yard with his house right there. The car pulling into the driveway and his sister exiting from the drivers seat. Matthew looked down at his feet to find that he was right there too. He checked behind him and the school was gone. He was home in his yard and Giselle was right there.

"Giselle! Wait!"

"What do you want Matthew?"

"It's me.. Come here.. I've missed you."

"Uh.. Matthew.. I was only gone to get some food. What are you talking about?"

Tears streamed down Matthews face as he ran towards his sister and embraced her tightly nearly picking her up off the ground. He wanted to tell her how much he had missed her. He wanted to hold her face in his hands and kiss her forehead and hell her how much he loved her. Every ounce of everything he had in his body was telling him to do it, yet when he opened his mouth no words came out. Just as quickly as the moment with his sister had came, it was taken away and Matthew found himself boarded up within the school walls again. Quickly turning around he saw a tear fall from Sera's face.

"How could you, you fucking bitch! YOU FUCKING BITCH!"

Her finger moved on the trigger, and then everything went dark.
