Hobbies and Interests: Ariel has a small obsession with kites and yoyos, and has played baseball many times in the past(though there is no way she is in any condition to play on a team). She also keeps a journal full of assorted writings – she never lets anyone see it though.

Appearance: Ariel is indeed a very unusual looking girl. She is very petite, so much so that she almost comes off as anorexic. Her limbs are long but very thin, almost bony. Her face is very smooth without any parts that seem to stick out. Overall though, the wind could literally rip her in half.

Her hair is white – her hair originally was blonde but started to turn white when she turned eleven. Her hair itself is long, curling down to her cheekbones, constantly blocking her pale blue eyes. In fact, Ariel could be best described with the word pale. She is an albino, her skin so light that it makes her look even sicklier. Her fingernails are short white and her eyebrows so light blonde that they blend into her skin. Her lips on the other hand are of a deep red variety, the one thing that sticks out on her face.

She normally wears cotton clothes (silk makes her rash badly) and since her favorite color is blue it makes sense that she usually wears blue clothing. Normally it's a blue shirt and a skirt that falls to her ankles, something that looks slightly formal – other times it's very random.

Biography: It was almost certain that Ariel could not live past five when she was diagnosed at age one. She was confined to a bed for years, not allowing to see the outside world unless under special circumstances. Her mother Nancy couldn't bear to look at her own child as every day was just a countdown.

Ariel has Renal Insufficiency. The disease itself does not happen right away but slowly progresses – it affects the function of a person's kidneys. Ariel had the luxury of getting it diagnosed ahead of time when she was young. Most people find out about it later in life and can only prolong the effects for a short time. While Renal Insufficiency tends to weaken its victims over time, Ariel has been slowly growing stronger. Being able to jog when you turn ten is a marvel in and of it (although she can go jogging for more than five minutes). Ariel was finally able to start attending high school regularly when she turned fifteen. While there are times where she is held back from going, she now arrives at school almost every day.

But these improvements don't mean much. There have been no donors. If Ariel wants to live, she needs a kidney. Her mother has been looking for years to no success. No matter how strong Ariel becomes (she still is very weak compared to her classmates) it won't matter one bit unless she gets a kidney.

Unfortunately, this is why Ariel has a very cynical outlook on life – she never seems to look at the bright side, always thinking about all the bad things. However she tries her best not to let her mother know this – Nancy would cry to hear her daughter talk like this.

Advantages: Ariel is weak - many people look at her with pity and that might help her. She does have strong hands, but she can't lift much with them.

Disadvantages: Everything. Ariel has no perceivable change of winning. She has never killed, can't hold her breath for long and has so many physical limitations that unless she gets a good weapon she has no real chance. She might even let herself get killed.
