Birthday games and homicide at the Gazebo

A gazebo sitting on the center of a tall hill. This would be a very good place to call people over to, and form some sort of plan. Be careful... this place is something of a dead giveaway to your whereabouts, since it sticks out so much.

Birthday games and homicide at the Gazebo

Dahlia Riviera was sniffling, crouched with her face in her knees by the edge of the Gazebo. She hadn't been there for long. She had awoken in the forest utterly terrified hours earlier. She knew she couldn't play this game... she hadn't even bothered to look at her weapon. The scary part was, apparently, according to the announcements, there were people out there very willing to play the game. She wished she could find some of her friends, but she was too affraid to move...

After the third chilling announcement came and went, Dahia got the nerve to look in her pack so as to discover her means of defense against psychos like what was his name... the boy who had killed four people already... the nerdy one she'd made fun of on more than one occasion... Fawley Hawst was it?

A pickaxe? What was she supposed to do with a pickaxe. Dahlia let out a scream of frustration and tossed it behind her head aiming for the gazebo platform. Instead of reaching it's target goal, the sharp blade of the pickaxe came down and stabbed her in the shoulder. She screamed out in shocked pain. The rain poured down around her as she clutched the spot that bled bright crimson.

She stood up infuriated. "Fuck this game! Fuck all of you, you sick motherfuckers! You'll never get away with this," she yelled screaming into a nearby camera... she didn't know that the cameras were down... she must have looked like an idiot yelling at merely a camera that wasn't even recording... as if her situation were the cameras fault. In her frustration she once again picked up the pickaxe, this time focusing more on her intended target... this time the bushes surrounding the large open air edifice. She would have kept it if only for defense had she known that she would need it very soon. She wouldn't however live scarcely long enough to regret it.

((Coming from Boys 20- GAME START))

Cillian's laugh echoed as he stepped up to the gazebo to meet the girl screaming at something on the other side. His ice eyes widened and his lips pulled back to that smile once again as he crouched down on his knees to crawl up the gazebo steps.

"You," he giggled as he put his left hand forward, "look like a dolly."

He tilted his head to the side to look at her better, putting his right hand forward.

"Can I show you something, dolly? It's--" he stopped short as his gaze fell upon the gash in her shoulder. Forgetting his fascination with her looks, He struggled to get closer to the blood flow cascading down her back.

Dahlia shrieked.

"Stay the hell away from me you freak!"

She was crying. This boy genuinely scared her... hell just about anything would have scared her right about now. She backed away and tripped landing hard on her thigh.

"No... no.. I'm warning you, my boyfriend is with me!"

She stuttered at the boy making up a false story so as to possibly scare him away, "...an-and he's a big football player and he has a gun! And he just left to pee and he'll be right back and he'll kick you're ass if you don't leave! Stay away or... or..."

What was she going to do... her boyfriend Todd was safely at home, following the events of the SOTF tournament as closely as he could... she looked around and cursed herself for tossing her weapon... she saw an opening in the trim of the Gazebo... she would dart for cover when the time proved necessary... the rain poured around her as she scuttled backwards from the scary boy.

At the word freak, Cillian frowned. This girl wasn't a nice dolly, that was for sure. She was moving away! And Cillian wasn't looking for a chase. What was she going to do? Hide?

It hit him just then. Hide and Seek! He loved that game. The smile returned as he covered his eyes.

"One, two, three..." he practically screamed at his spot on the gazebo.

He was counting... this was getting weirder and weirder... Dahlia, otherwise known as Dolly to her homicidal maniac friends, scrambled through the gap. She was so scared. She ripped her designer clothes on the jagged wood. It was dark underneath and there were random peices of junk and thick pillars in various places... she hid behind a pillar and hugged her knees... hopefully he hadn't seen her run underneath the platform.

"Te-en!" Cillian said triumphantly as he took his hands away from his eyes and used them to hop back up from his crouching position. He couldn't help but let out a giggle as he turned around and around, searching. She hadn't gone far, he could hear her footsteps as she stumbled around for a hiding spot.

"Dolly," Cillian called as he moved his head from side to side. He couldn't see her. Moving towards the edge, he let out his frustration about her "disappearance" by stomping hard on the gazebo platform.

"WHERE'S DOLLY!!!"

Dust and debris from above came down in a dirty mist. Dahlia let out a bloodcurdling scream that could be heard across the island. She was screwed and she knew it.

Cillian dropped on his stomach to view an opening under the Gazebo. There was Dolly.

"I found you!" he whispered as he pulled himself under the gazebo through the dirt. He was less than arms length away when his left hand, covered in dirt, moved and dug into the bleeding shoulder blade.

Sobbing, Dahlia whimpered, "n-n-nooo!"

The boy had extremely sharp nails. She ducked down and rolled away, moving to the opposite wall from the exit hole. She panicked. She couldn't see him, but he was getting closer and she could feel it. She groped for anything, but all she found was grass and dirt and... wait an empty beer bottle? In her hysteria she threw it blindly. She heard it collid with something and shatter... whether it was the boy, she didn't know. She could see the hole across the small crawl space... if the bottle had hit Cillian then this was her chance, if not, then she was screwed. She darted for the light, scraping a pillar as she did so. She recovered quickly... still no sign of Cillian, maybe she would make. She was at the entrance/exit. She was halfway through the hole. Oh Dahlia was gonna make it! She was held back. Her skirt had caught on a jagged peice of loose wood trim. "No..." She tugged to no avail...

"Dolly shouldn't run away!" Cillian screamed as he seemed to jump out of nowhere, grasping on to Dahlia's midsection. Her struggling to get out from under the gazebo caused his nails to dig deep and tear, the slashes beginning to fill with blood. He pulled her back, away from the light. Into the dark, where he was placed for years. He knew the dark, and the scary things hiding there. She would know too.

She will know too, the little dolly. Her screams will be heard, and the monsters in the dark will laugh. Haddy will laugh. Bleeding, bleeding, bloody little mess. Little Dolly. You will be missed.

Cillian took one hand and began to jab into ribs with his nails, each one making a deep gash into her. He took his thumbnail and slashed both cheeks, her tears mixing with the blood that started to flow. His hand still clutching to her midsection dug in further, his fingers in from the first joint. The blood covered his hands. Then, as his lips pulled back into the fatal smile, and as the blood began to flow freely as he released his fingers, he brought down his hand.

His fingers met with her throat, and he grasped a hold as his nails dug in. Deeper, deeper. Then he pulled. The blood sprayed in large amounts on his face, but the smile was still there. Ice blue eyes met with her brown, and he rested one hand on her cheek.

You really will be missed.

The boys nails were so sharp... his rage so pure and sinisterly evil. Dahlia couldn't overpower him. She struggled, screamed, fought as hard as she could, but to no avail. She was beat. And so she went limp as the slashes continued, she went as limp as a porcelain doll. Her screams ceased, as did her life. The last minutes were of pain greater than anything she had ever experienced, but now, it was over, the pain drained from her body like air from a flat tire. And with one last breath Dahlia Riviera's Battle Royale had come to an abrupt close.

DEAD: DAHLIA RIVIERA, GIRL NO. 67
