Attack at the river

A simple river which offers so much, such as a place to bath, a food source, and a fresh water source. Be careful... someone could easily sneak up on you while you are bathing, or gathering food and water.

Rais finally arrived at the river, having taken precautions to avoid the danger zones and the cameras (though he didn't know they were offline right now). Stopping by the large body of water, he allowed his eyes to wander, taking in the sight of the cool liquid. His eyes stopped on the corpse of a girl, her bag and clothes thrown to the side. Slowly taking out his pistol, he looked around the area before filling up his half-empty water bottle and started to move away.

Not too far from him, Jacob was clearing the trees, knife in hand. His eyesight had returned (along with his hearing) a few minutes ago, and he had stopped to clean his wounds and stop the bleeding. He had also thrown away the Manurhin MR-73 revolver when he found out it was out of bullets. His clothes and face had a disheveled appearance from the constant fighting, and he had actually hoped to be able to take a break. Of course, there was no such thing as "taking a break" during the SOTF act. Not very far ahead of him, he saw a boy in a black trenchcoat (boy #23- Rais Sekth) with a gun. His fourth target. Slowly, trying not to make any unnecessary noise, he started to follow the other boy.

Rais thought he heard footsteps, but dismissed it as hallucinations caused by the stress of the game. Of course, he shouldn't have dismissed the footsteps, instead he should have turned around and fired, then he would have stood a chance. Instead, he felt a sharp pain in his back and shouted in surprise, then slumping to the ground in a heap.

"Damn." was the last thing he uttered as the knife was pulled out of him and everything went black.
Boy #23- Rais Sekth- Dead.

Jacob smirked in satisfaction as he successfully ambushed and killed the boy. Removing and sheathing his knife, he took the gun from the corpse of Rais and removed his trenchcoat, taking the extra ammo from there. Putting the ammo for his new firearm in one of his pockets and having the loaded gun tightly in hand, he set out to play the game again.
