Lasting

A rather makeshift hospital. It's small, and has only one room to it, much like the school building. The hospital's white tiled walls seem to scream for some color... maybe you can provide? Inside, the hospital has many first aid kits, many of which are empty. If you're lucky enough, you can find something helpful in this building.

((Continued from: Starting Place for Boy 09))

Falling against the door, Hawley collasped against the tiled floor of the clinic. Today alone he had met with three of his fellow classmate, one he felt he could trust, the other he did not, and the other he didn't even know who it was but by the scream seemed to be a female.

Breathes came in deep, and quick as he fought to put air into his lungs. His mind was spinning, and his vision was starting to fade in and out. Pushing up, he pulled himself the rest of the way into the clinic before falling again using his foot to close it.

After another moment giving his mind time to refocus, he pushed up onto his knees locking the door as he crawled over to the cabinets where he had hidden his and Helena's bag, pulling them both out.

Digging through he brought his out his first-aid kit and got out everything needed. “Damn it…” Hawley hissed into the darkening sky as he placed the shirt against his swollen knee, it had begun bothering him sometime after he had returned to the building. So once against gathering what was needed, he sat down and using one of the shirts from Helena’s bag begun cleaning the wound.

In doing this he had already ran out of rubbing alcohol from his kit. And though he hadn’t seen Helena’s kit in her bag, he’d have to make a better search later… that and search for any spare ammo to his weapon. Cleaning the injured knee to a decent degree without opening any of the closed wounds. He re-bandaged it in the old dressings, seeing that they where limited he decided too only replace them one they where to the point that he just couldn’t use them anymore.

Looking through the bag once more, he lifted out a rather thick notebook of sorts. A journal that he had kept since he had turned 11, anything and everything he had every felt and thought was in this thing. Replacing the journal, he pulled out the manual going over it lightly a few parts catching his interest. Most where just the ‘Do’s’ and ‘Don’ts’ of the game, the mentioning of the necklace though was the first time he’d really ever thought about them. And he had been rubbing against his neck quite a few times during the day, and he didn’t pause to wonder quietly to himself ‘What the hell is around my neck?’

Running fingers over the cool surface lightly, he did no more than that, as personally he didn’t want it to blow up either… though the next part about the necklaces made a small laugh admit from him. So at least one person had to die each day or all the collars explode? Least he done his part in keeping that from happening…

Placing the manual to the side, he went through his bag again bringing out one of the water bottles, and the tin of crackers. Looking over the food lightly, he wondered lightly if they where safe to eat… Sniffing at them, nothing smelled odd and with a shrug popped one in his mouth. All right… they where bad, least he had water to wash it all down. Glancing off to the side at the door he sat near, he could only wonder how long it would be till someone else should up. How long would it be till he had to kill again… how long he would last in the game?

Thoughts pausing, he blinked sitting up somewhat as a voice began playing through the once-silent air. Seems Mr. Danya's first annoucement had finally begun...

He could only grin at his mention, and kill in the annoucent. He wondered lightly how many people knew he was B22... and if they did, how many would think twice now about crossing his path. Resting back down, he let a sigh out remembering lightly about he new danger zones, he'd have to mark his map later and make sure to keep his distance from them when he left again.
