Suenos en la clase de espanol

Dreams in Spanish class

This is the hall for history classes, as well as language courses. As such, it is the most expansive hall in the school, taking up a large portion of the third floor. The hall is quite varied in character, with teachers decorating the areas near their classrooms as they please, and with many student projects displayed on the walls. The classrooms here are just as varied in character as the halls, with language classrooms displaying a strong bent towards culturally-appropriate decorations. Students are required to take at least three years of history, as well as two years of a foreign language. The languages offered by the school are Spanish, French, Latin, Vietnamese, and Mandarin Chinese.

Suenos en la clase de espanol

((Rutherford "R.J" Roger Jr. continued from St. Edwards Bake Sale))
(Note: My Spanish isn't the strongest)

"Oh, Ruth por favor, ven aqui. Necesito su ayuda."

<Oh , Ruth please, come down. I need your help>

"¿Si?"

<Yeah?>

"Acercate mas..."

<Come Closer>

"...Ok..."

"Mas cerca..."

<Closer...>

"¿Que esta pasando?"

<What's going on?>

Spanish

"RUTHERFORD!"

"...Que?"

<...What?>

"Por favor, mantenga la cabeza en alto en la clase."

<Please keep your head up in class.>

"Oh, uh, lo siento"

<Oh, uh, sorry.>

It must have been a bad dream if it was in Spanish. R.J. always had bad dreams in Spanish. Thankfully, Senor Sanchez had woken him up. It was about the only thing R.J. thought he was good for. Not to say he was a bad teacher, but one could say R.J. detested Mr. Sanchez and there would be nary a contradiction to that statement. The man gave so much homework the previous day, accompanied by a lot of homework from other classes, R.J. came to school very tired this morning. Of course, that wasn't the only reason R.J. disliked him. He was also a sleaze, at least to R.J.. He was glad his mother almost never went to parent-teacher conferences, seeing as how the teacher would hit on any woman that didn't have a ring around her finger. However, the biggest offense to R.J. was the man's favoritism towards his female students. R.J. remembered how nice Sanchez was to him during his first Spanish class, but suddenly became much more formal and strict once he realized R.J. was a guy.

"Maybe I'd have a better grade."

The only reason he was taking Spanish class in the first place was because he didn't feel like learning another language. His mom was already teaching him Spanish anyway, so he figure it might be a fun class and a easy A at the same time. Boy, was he ever wrong. No matter, at least he was learning...sort of.

"OK, todo el mundo, se emparejan con un grupo y estudio para un rato. Tenemos un examen manana y quiero que todos ustedes esten preparados." announced Senor Sanchez.

<OK, everybody, pair up with a group and study for a while. We have a test tomorrow and I want you all to be prepared>

Groans. Groans everywhere around the class. Rubbing his eyes, R.J. looked around to see who would pair up with him.
