Parkway Shopping PlazaAn alternative to the hustle and bustle of Central Mall, Parkway Plaza is filled with small shops and restaurants, mostly run by local merchants, and many thrift and second-time-around shops for those who would rather not (or simply can't afford to) spend ridiculous amounts of money on clothing and shoes.

The Drive-InActually, it's known as "Frank Magallanes's Drive-In Movie Extravaganza", but it's refered to by the locals simply as the "Drive-In". It is, as one could imagine, a drive-in movie. It's also one of the more popular dating spots around town. The concept is simple: you drive through, purchase your snacks and beverages, sit in your car, and watch whatever's showing this week on the enormous display screen. Sit back and enjoy the show!

Major Taylor Skate Park15,300 square feet of pure concrete, Major Taylor Skate Park is the largest skate park in the tri-state area. It is an outdoor park boasting a half bowl and two half pipes. It also has a street-oriented course that includes a 5 sided transition pyramid, ledges, walls, and a few rails. The park is open to skateboards, in-line skates, quads, and bicycles. You must wear pads at all time and sign a waver upon admission, but it offers special events like skate shows, and has a refreshment stand.

The SeasideThe beautiful shoreline that outstretches into the Atlantic Ocean is Denton's pride and joy. A large amusement park has been built on the coast and is one of the primary sources of income for the city. Further up, a marina filled with boats exists, and even further up is the desolate and untainted shoreline, stopped only by a lone pier that juts out into the water.
