Located at the base of Lookout Mountain, which lies on the state border, the park has an open play area with swings and playground equipment, an off-leash dog park, and walking and hiking trails which lead up the mountain. The park is located conveniently near campsites and is a short drive from other Lookout Mountain attractions, though camping within the park itself is prohibited.

Located in the southeast of Chattanooga, the military park also borders the Appalachian Mountains. Its main draw is the rock climbing and hiking offered by the location, but those with an interest in local history can visit the Civil War memorial as well. Due to incidents of vandalism, security around Heritage Park is strict, and a curfew is enforced, prohibiting entry after sundown.

Thanks to Chattanooga's history of freight and mining, it hosts several locations where tourists and curious locals can explore mountain caverns, both natural and artificial. The Winnepesaukah Caverns are just one such location. Tours of the caverns run on afternoons and weekends, and more experienced spelunkers can schedule their own explorations, as long as they have the proper licensing and gear.

Chattanooga plays host to numerous festivals throughout the year, from Pride marches to film festivals to sporting events; this is the place for those and other specific events, public or personal. Other threads that take place within the city limits but not in any other specified location also belong here. Please use this board only for threads that really don't fit anywhere else, however; threads that take place in one of the delineated areas, even if they represent events, should be placed in the area board for better organization. Threads that take place outside the city of Chattanooga should also be placed in the appropriate board.

Chattanooga is bordered by the Tennessee River and the Appalachian Mountains, along with various other cities, towns, and rural areas nearby. If your characters want to go hiking, biking, camping, or otherwise exploring the area outside of the city itself, this is the place to do it. This board is also the appropriate location for any other events taking place outside the boundaries of Chattanooga proper that are set during the pregame time period; past trips, however, belong in Memories of the Past.
