Re: J'en Ai Marre

"Just because your girlfriend's coming doesn't mean you get mic privileges." Regan almost had to remind herself to act natural. Almost. But she didn't, because the whole 'hiding her sexuality and secret relationship' thing wasn't new. She already knew she had to act natural, and that didn...

Re: J'en Ai Marre

Regan held up one finger, ready and willing to defend her geek credentials and and correct Aidan. "Batman and Catwoman aren't enemies, let alone worst enemies. They haven't been since the 70's, I think. Right now they're dating. Or, at least, sleeping together. But I think dating. They've always...

Re: J'en Ai Marre

Regan allowed herself a private celebration as Monsieur Leonard turned his attention to Aidan. Sure, he'd been on her case only a few seconds before, but, you see, now he wasn't . This was her victory, dammit, and don't try to take it away. Now, when Monsieur Leonard inevitably got on her case again...

Re: J'en Ai Marre

Regan withdrew her leg back under the desk, straightening in the chair and folding her arms across her chest. She pursed her lips, and she did her best to look as pouty as she could. Even growing up as spoiled as she had, that was harder than it sounded. For one, she didn't pout. For the most part, ...

Re: J'en Ai Marre

Boy, could he read her or could he read her? No no, he could read her. Maybe not like a book, but something that is also read. Cards, maybe. Like, those Hallmark ones. The sort of simple ones. Or maybe playing cards. Also the really simple ones. But that wasn't the point. Cohesion! Was the point. Ba...

Re: J'en Ai Marre

((Regan Flagg, le start)) Regan had her head down on her desk, doing her dogged best to maybe get a few more minutes of precious sleep before Monsieur Leonard got on her case. She was having mixed results. Her heart wasn't in it, really. She meant to sleep, really, she did. But instead of actually c...

Re: Serenade with an Electric Guitar

Regan shook her head, heaving an exaggerated sigh. "12, huh? Still seems low. Maybe let's round it up, call it an even 30? I know, I know, I"m selling myself short. But I wouldn't want you to think I have an ego or something." She paused, giving it further consideration. "Maybe 5...

Re: Serenade with an Electric Guitar

Okay, being completely and totally honest, there were a few seconds where Regan found herself doubting. Like, when Ruby didn't immediately jump in with the praise, there was a little bit of self-consciousness. Well, yeah, sure, she thought she did a good job with the song, but maybe she was just ton...

Re: Serenade with an Electric Guitar

So, this was happening. Like, totally and really happening. You'd think it wouldn't be as big a deal, but, to be honest, Regan was kind of nervous. And when she said kind of nervous, she meant really nervous. Which was crazy. Why would she be nervous playing guitar? It was, like, all she did! Make r...

Re: Serenade with an Electric Guitar

((Regan Flagg continued from Life is like a broken record )) For as long as she could remember, she really liked Ruby's house. Particularly because it wasn't Regan's house. Which meant her parents didn't live there. Which would be weird if they did, you know? But anyway, besides the obvious benefits...

Re: Life is like a broken record

Regan whistled appreciatively. $119 for 20 DVD's? Sounded like a good deal to her. You go to Bestbuy and try to pull that. Hell, it'd probably cost around that price for a quarter of the DVD's she'd grabbed. Now, she wouldn't say that Bestbuy ripped people off, but it was just about highway robbery....

Re: Life is like a broken record

Regan was far from a cynic, but Ruby's optimism almost made her feel like one. Sure, the whole 'everything will work out' thing was nice, if you held any stock in it. In this particular instance, she didn't. Yeah, sure, maybe her parents wouldn't be that terribly upset. Maybe they'd accept her for w...

Re: Life is like a broken record

Which one was Wild Things? She knew that there were probably more important things she could be focusing on, but if she didn't puzzle it out now it would just keep bugging her. Kevin Bacon? That sounded right. And someone, Ponyboy maybe, getting poisoned and thrown off a boat. Besides being the clos...

Re: Life is like a broken record

Only too happy to tag along anywhere with Ruby, Regan tipped an imaginary hat to the guy manning the counter. "Vinnie." She shouldered the guitar resting in it's case and recovered her backpack and made to follow Ruby downstairs. Chances were good the atmosphere down there would be less......

Re: Life is like a broken record

(Breaking post order because xetjaweofijaofnzimpatientpjoawkb) Regan decided to let cooler, more interested knowledgeable heads handle the situation, electing to hand back and lean against the counter. One might get the impression of James Dean, if he was a she and had green hair. Did James Dean hav...
