Kickapoo

{{continued from Crazy Sunshine }} "What are you getting all dressed up for?" Diana Graham asked as Maria stepped into the living room, pulling on her favorite leather jacket. Some luggage sat in the living room with her. "Oh right, you're going to hang out with Duncan again, right?&q...

Re: No Such Thing as a Free Lunch

((Sebastian Decartes continued from This Devil's Workday )) "Sooo, I've been working on the mechanics of my swing over the winter, plus it's taken a while to get used to this new grip I'm trying." "Mmhmm..." "I mean I might even get to play a couple of the local events this ...

Re: Crazy Sunshine

Uh oh, too late. Max turned to look just as Maria said not to, and the bee, looking for any excuse to strike did, driving its stinger through his shirt, piercing through his skin and delivering its dose of deadly bee venom. Like the kamikaze insectoid that it was, it then dropped to the floor, satis...

Re: Crazy Sunshine

"Hey, Max!" Maria offered an energetic wave in Max's direction as he approached them, holding a vinyl record sleeve in his hands as if it were precious gold. "Ooh, rarity. Sounds awesome." She said as she studied the cover intently. "Oh, the concert's tomorrow. We just finis...

Re: This Devil's Workday

(Rawr crappy short post ahoy.) Sebastian started to put his equipment away, moving the paints and such to where they normally went when not in use, and moving his painting off into the corner with the other student's projects. "Alright, let's go." He responded. The fact that one of the gir...

Re: Crazy Sunshine

"Oh, we're pretty much a punk band." Maria responded. "We get a lot of ideas fro-" "Hey, guys. What's up?" Maria recognized that voice, at least in passing, and there was only one way to respond. "'eyyyyyy!" Maria said spinning around and offering the classic ...

Re: Crazy Sunshine

Maria bent down to get a better look at Tabi's scar. "Ooh..." Maria herself had a lot of various accidents before (such was the price of being an energetic girl willing to do stupid things now and then), but thus far she had been fortunate enough to get away without any real noticeable sca...

Re: Crazy Sunshine

"I'm Maria, and this is Duncan!" Maria responded, pulling Duncan closer as she spoke while reaching out with her other hand to shake Tabi's. "Uh...hey." Duncan said as she was brought closer. "Could you let go now?" "So blading, huh? You mean roller blading, right?...

Re: This Devil's Workday

Sebastian's response unfortunately didn't have the result he was looking for, and the girl was still sticking around and bugging him. He noticed he was working slower than before, and it was starting to get a bit sloppy. That annoying bitch and her endless yakking had broken his concentration, and t...

Petrushka smiled at Abigail's compliment, zipping up her backpack. "I am sorry if I got in the way at al-" "You're welcome, Perchusha" Petrushka reared back as Kent leaned in, taking the credit as well as mispronouncing her name. She didn't really get why her name was so hard for...

Re: Crazy Sunshine

"What do you mean what are we going to do here?" Maria replied. "Well, malls are for buying stuff." Duncan said. "And I don't have any money on me, so..." "No it's not! There's also the whole social thing too!" Maria said loudly, putting on her smart face. &qu...

{{Maria continued from Rock 'n Roll Star }} {{Duncan continued from Summer in Paris, Light from the Sky }} One phone call later, Maria had stopped by Duncan's house (this time it was Dream On by Aerosmith that she played on the doorbell,) grabbed him by the sleeve as he went to answer the door and d...

Re: This Devil's Workday

A little bit of blue over here would work well... Sebastian's train of thought was interuppted by a girl calling out to him. He wore an expression of mild irritation on his face, though since he was facing the other way it wasn't very noticable. If there was one thing he hated, it was being interup...

Re: Rock n' Roll Star

Zack looked a bit worried as Warren headed out. How could he not know about the gig? They'd been practicing for it for at least a couple of weeks now. He'd have to call him and fill him in on the details later. He wouldn't want the band's bassist to not show up because he went to the wrong place or ...

Re: Rock n' Roll Star

Maria threw her hands into the air and let out an enthusiastic "Whoo!" as practice finished. If they performed at the gig as well as did right then, they'd be a hit for sure. Maria would've definitely loved to do this kind of thing for a living. It certainly beat having a normal job, like....
